Topshop is a shop I visited for the first time when I was in London a couple of years back with my friends. You can imagine my excitement when I could visit the flagship store on the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam. Upon entering I went straight for the beauty corner, a bit harder to find because it's in the back on the ground floor, and figuring I might not be around a Topshop any time soon (or Amsterdam for that matter - wrong about that one though) went a bit crazy and picked up not one, not two, but five lip products.

|'Get Me Bodied'|
Four of the five are from its core lipstick range, in the shades 'Lovestruck,' 'Be My Baby,' 'Wicked,' and 'Sashay Away' as you can see from left to right in the photo above. Next to these I also got the lip bullet in the familiar shade 'Get Me Bodied' that is at the far right. Quite a peculiar name that one. Lovestruck is a nice pink, and a bit out of my comfort zone because it is a lot brighter than the usual pink nudes I go for, but great nonetheless. Be My Baby is another one that is definitely out of my comfort zone, but a shade I have been on the lookout for in the last couple of months - an orange lipstick shade. Again, on the brighter side, and at first I didn't think it would suit me. I tried working with it by adding a bit of red lipliner to make it a bit darker at first, you know, to get used to the shade. Now, I am in love with this shade and am glad I took the punch. I will say when I apply it I am not so fond of the way it sits and looks on my lips, but after a while when it has set, it is amazing. Wicked is a shade I always tend to go back to, a classic shall we say and I bet this goes for most lipstick obsessed people. It is a dark red - perfect for fall. Sashay Away is the odd one of bunch and I still need to work around this one because of its finish. It is a brown shade and very sheer compared to the others with...wait for it...gold glitter. Still, on the lipswatches at the end of this post it looks okay, it's just that in person...hmm I don't know. Have to play with it a bit more I guess. Last but not least Get Me Bodied a matte and dry finish lipstick. A dark berry tone, and like 'Wicked' a shade I tend to lean towards to that is also perfect for Autumn.
The wearability of these products is very nice albeit that the lip bullet tends to dry the lips due to its matt formula and therefore takes a bit more work for a good and even application. Lasting time is also great. The traditional lipstick range is pretty much gone after having a meal, but throughout the day these do not bleed and although not transferproof last through a drink or two. The lip bullet, again due to its formula, has a longer lasting power. What do you think? Any shades I must get my hands on?
